Dave Cash is a very well known and respected radio d.j., who in the 1960's was the co-host of the 'Kenny & Cash' radio show with Kenny Everett, on Radio London, the offshore pirate radio station. Kenny went onto become a big television star, Dave Cash stayed in radio where he has continued to work as a d.j. and radio presenter. He was also in management at London's Capitol Radio, where he later employed his old mate Kenny Everett to present shows. Here Dave talks to Paul Peters & Geoff Kemp, on his Saturday night BBC show, about their trip of a lifetime along part of the old route 66 when they took part in the Route 66 Radio Tour in June, 2013.
